Why is the total count on the tablet different from the total shown in my portal or reports?

The tablet shows the count of all detected objects, including detections that may be poor quality, such as crop that is only partially visible on the screen (for example, on the edge of the camera’s field of view or stacked).

In our cloud data pipelines, detections with unreliable size estimates are automatically filtered out. This ensures that the data used in the portal and reports is high quality and suitable for confident decision-making.

As a result, the count displayed on the tablet will always be higher than the count shown in the portal or in exported reports.
