Which 4G dongle do I have and how do I set it up?

HarvestEye systems use one of two 4G dongles — D-Link or Onyx. Identify your dongle below and follow the link to the correct setup guide.

Step-by-Step Identification

  1. Check the 4G dongle connected to your USB-C hub enclosure.
    You’ll find it inside the operator’s cab, connected to the hub with a USB cable.

  2. Compare what you see with the images below:

Option 1 – D-Link 4G Dongle

  • Appearance: Black rectangular USB device, often branded D-Link on the front.

  • SIM Slot: Accessible by sliding off the back cover.

Option 2 – Onyx 4G Dongle (Soracom Onyx LTE)

  • Appearance: Sleek black USB-C style modem with Soracom Onyx on the front.
