Can I change the bands on my reports through the portal?

Only for Handheld reports

On-Conveyor and On-Harvester Systems

The user cannot change directly the band intervals on the pdf daily reports generated by On-Conveyor/On-Harvester systems. To change them, the user will have to send an email to support@harvesteye.com requesting these changes.

Handheld Systems

Since version 2.2.0, users can change the band intervals displayed on their Handheld reports through their respective portal accounts. To do this, please follow the steps below:

  1. On the left-hand side, click on Configuration -> Handheld Bands.
  2. Click on +Add to create a new set of bands or click on Edit on a set of bands already created to edit it.
  3. You can select the type of band being added/edited via the option Band Type (e.g. Size, Weight) and the respective unit system to be used (Imperial or Metric).
  4. It is recommended that, for the last band interval, the user set a high value to represent the oversize class. For example, assuming the user is editing band intervals for Size in potatoes, we recommend setting the end limit of the last interval to a value like 999 or 9999.  
  5. Click Save to complete the configuration.
  6. Ensure the latest band intervals are downloaded into the tablet. Connect the tablet to the internet and click on Settings -> System Settings -> Download Fields & Bands.
  7. To select a set of bands, on the System Settings menu, click on Report Settings -> Select Bands.
  8. The tablet will display the names of the band intervals associated with your account. Select the one of interest and click Accept. Once a snapshot is taken, the Excel and PDF reports will display the selected band configuration.
